Full Moon Scorpio - April 2016 - Emotional Overload
This Full Moon is now upon us as well, and believe me, I wanted to get this written sooner. As you can imagine, Mars and Pluto retrogrades have not been playing well with my schedule all week. Where we started to see things get hit with the previous New Moon in Aries... We're seeing more of it and the hits keep coming and coming!
Jupiter Opposite Neptune in T-Square to Saturn and Mars, now here's where it gets interesting. Jupiter in Virgo, and retrograde at that, isn't in its best spot. However, by the time of the next new moon, it'll be about to station Direct and starting its long march out of Virgo and onto more expansive territory. For now, it's opposing Neptune, so our pipe dreams regarding what we're worth and where we're going will be a bit stagnant for now. Especially with Mars and Pluto retrograde in the mix. Both of these also square Saturn, and Saturn itself is retrograde right now, so we have a conflict of restrictions and interruptions hitting us, so we're not likely to be seeing much growth and advancement right now, try as we might. Mars retrograde also in this T-square (and very wide conjunct Saturn if we can even consider it as such), well, thankfully Mars and Saturn aren't mixing in their retrograde energies together as tightly, but it's close enough and both in orb to squaring Jupiter and Neptune enough to be a real pain in the ass. Mars retrograde slows us down even further. On Antares? Yes, we're also seeing some real seething, probably (definitely) from frustrations arising from the delays and interferences we're seeing in our daily lives.
It's not all doom and gloom, however. North Node/Mercury/Pluto are in an Earth Grand Trine, so we have a little bit of a relaxation and easing of communications, especially concerning where we're headed, and the conversations about what needs to be changed or discarded, especially as far as wastefulness (Pluto in Capricorn) are likely to develop. Mercury, however, is also slowing down for its own retrograde period starting next week! So communications are going to be impacted further for the remainder of the cycle. Vesta itself is also in this Grand Trine partially (due to the conjunction to Mercury and being within orb of trining the North Node, not so much Pluto). A crisis of faith could come about, though it won't be as contentious like it would if it were with Mercury in, say, a Grand Cross. Let's be thankful we don't have that for this trip.
Pholus continues to sit on Galactic Center, thus spiritual themes and themes of higher consciousness will continue to be experienced, mostly on an internal, in the back-of-the-mind way.
The Full Moon trines Nessus, so we may have a slight easing of obsessions this cycle. However, we must note we have a much stronger Nessus square 3811 Karma this Full Moon. Have you obsessed over or even been abusive to someone in the past? Get ready, because a day of reckoning is likely upon us now. We reap what we sow, and with Nessus in Pisces, believe me, emotions will be at the heart of it. Karma being in Gemini, it may come about in the form of duality in some way, whether it be "the other man/woman", or confrontation by a pair. (Imagine a pair of police officers coming to the door regarding a complaint due to an argument over whether to have chicken or lasagna for dinner. Mild, ridiculous example but I can definitely see something like this happening). Trust me, you really want to focus on hobbies (but not to the detriment of spending time with your loved ones), or focusing on meditation or something of the sort right now for the remainder of the cycle if you're having trouble with obsessive tendencies.
99942 Apophis conjunct 100 Hekate... I have a feeling we'll be seeing more destruction of some ritualistic aspects of our lives. Given the combination to Nessus square Karma, I wouldn't be surprised if yet another religious or spiritual institution gets caught up in another scandal at this time.
Venus conjunct Uranus conjunct 157 Dejanira... More shakeups in relationships to be sure, likely in regards to not being appreciated or feeling victimized is a theme I could see happening, especially with Venus and Uranus square Pluto. Of course, some new relationships or other arrangements, or even unconventional employment (or perhaps both) will start up, but this should not be fully expected to be permanent. (It could be depending on placements to your own natal and progressed charts). What was thought to be stable in relationships and even jobs (Venus also equates to jobs, not just romance and relationships), we may just come through this and find out it wasn't so permanent. Or you could transition from one contract job to another one. Jobs, relationships, both require work and something's going to shift after this full moon. Almost guaranteed. Could even be something mundane as your spouse needing to spend a few extra hours in the office this or next week.
Let's be honest, this Full Moon culmination for this cycle is looking like a cluster... um... rhymes with "truck"... yeah. The Earth Grand Trine will help somewhat. But the T-Square, we're going to be delayed, we're going to have illusions shattered, plans go awry... If you think you're going to go full speed ahead right now, I'm telling you, you're gonna have a bad time. Check, double-check, triple-check, and then proceed with caution.
Now, hopefully, I can finish up my other article series soon or at the very least start on the Mercury Retrograde article before the Mercury Retrograde actually begins. As I said, it's been a crazy week!
